Midway between Rome and Naples. Volscan, Roman and Southern Vatican Kingdom city, it preserves several ruins of its thousand-year history in the Old Town Centre and where is possible to admire a stratification of ages: the Roman Phorum faces towards the medieval Cathedral; not far is the Appian Road with the Capitolium and the medieval house of Azzi that is connected with the Church of Purgatory (XVII century). The most modern part of the city was built during 700s, between the sea and the country and offers several attractions such as the Church of S. Salvatore. On the top of the mountain is the area of the Temple of Juppiter, that joins the beautiful suggestion of the monument to the admirable landscape.

SABAUDIA and SAN FELICE CIRCEO: San Felice Circeo is a very old city, as proved by the presence of the polygonal walls and a Knight -Templar tower. Sabaudia, the new city of the countryside, was built on April 15, 1934 and represents a shining example of Italian Rationalism. Both the cities are part of the Circeo National Park. The first town represents the hilly area of the park and it will be appreciated by trekking lovers because they will visit with pleasure the so called Goats Cave. The second city is characterized by the last plain forest in Italy and the coastal lakes included in the area of the park. Nature and history are available in several routes: it is also possible to have an easy panoramic tour by coach, which is useful to look up to all the different settings and elements of biodiversity of the park.

CIRCEO NATIONAL PARK: the park includes about 8.300 hectares of land and the cities of Sabaudia, San Felice Circeo and Latina, and it is the smallest park in Italy. Even if it is characterized by a moderate size, it includes many elements of biodiversity thanks to the presence of many and various environments: from the dunes to the lakes, from the mountains to the plain. You may have several tours: the promontory with the so called Goats Cave that preserves fossils ruins, the plain forest with the pools, the panoramic tour of the Rationalist city of Sabaudia; the residence of the Emperor Domitianus.

Nearby the coast are the Pontine Islands. Ships and ferries are available in the harbours of Formia, Terracina and S. Felice Circeo. The archipelago is composed by two groups of islands, different one by the other for their location, morphology and size: Ponza, Palmarola, Zannone and Gavi are part of the North - Western group; and Ventotene and the small island of S. Stefano are part of the South -eastern group

The two main islands, Ponza e Ventotene, are sisters, but they are not twins: the cliffs of Ponza are very coloured and patchy; Ventotene is instead characterized by pleasant dark rocks. During Roman Age, the two islands had the same sad destiny to become a place of exile. During Borbon era, free citizens settled there, and during Fascism they became again a prison

PONZA: Colours, hues and nuances... the suggestion of the sea, the rocks and the houses. You are in Ponza, the first Island of the Pontine Archipelago! The main feature of this Island is beauty, but you can easily find a lot historical traces: Pilato's grottoes, admirable work of engineering in the sea. Trekking lovers can have a pleasant walk on Monte Guardia to discover the very ancient necropolis. People who has just visited Ponza in the past could discover Palmarola Island, so fascinating and wild, or Zannone Island, characterized by unspoilt nature and also sea site of Circeo National Park.

VENTOTENE: The Island that "takes the wind" can be visited entirely by foot thanks to its limited size, offering a profuse view of the beach and the sea all around. In spite of its size, there are a lot of places to visit: the residence in which Giulia, Emperor Augustus' daughter, lived in exile; a museum that collects the historical ruins of the Island for an educational tour; a sink where people collected water during Roman Age that is called Prisoners' sink. It is also possible to get a boat and reach the near S. Stefano Island, where are the famous Bourbon's Prisons or just have a circumnavigation of the Island from Punta Eolo to Punta Arco.

PRIVERNO: city of art, Priverno offers several occasions of visits thanks to the huge variety of its cultural heritage. In the historical centre are the Cathedral of S. Maria Annunziata (XII century) and the ancient Town Hall as well as the Archeological Museum of the ancient Privernum, that collects important relics such as the Nilotic threshold. In the lowest part of the city is the Archeological area of Privernum, which allows a surprise: the Medieval city lays upon the Roman one! The ruins of Medieval Privernum are collected in the horse stables of Fossanova Abbey. Very close to Priverno is S. Martino's Castle that holds a singular museum dedicated to Maths and all its applications.

GAETA:a very ancient city. According to the legend, the name of Gaeta comes from Aeneas' nunny. In the collective opinion, it is known as an Island in the middle of the sea, because of the famous military prison, but the truth is that Gaeta is not an island, but a peninsula wrapped by a wonderful sea. Gaeta is also a city rich of history: independent Duchy, Maritime Republic, part of the Bourbon Kingdom and also the last bulwark before Italian unification. Gaeta offers many occasions of visits: the Sanctuary of Split Mountain, famous for the miraculous crack; the Ancient city with its gates and churches that are both holy places and small galleries; the Diocesan Museum that represents the greatest art collection of the Southern Latium; the history and nature trail of Monte Orlando, a mix of Mediterranean garrigue and cliffs, powder stores of Bourbon Age and military batteries. Futhermore you can see Gaeta by sea: cosy boats are at your disposal for tours of the Seven Beaches, the Blue Oasis and the wonderful cliffs of the promontory.

SPERLONGA: a small sea village characterized by white houses placed on a promontory that looks at the sea: rightly awarded as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. About one kilometer from the town, close to the beach, on a very charming route, is the National Archeological Museum that shows one "Marble Odyssey" and the archeological area of the residence of the Emperor Tiberius, characterized by a grotto where the marble sculptures where placed during the Roman Age. The hill next to the grotto is managed by the Ulysses' Coast Park that created a trail along the Roman route called Flacca Road.

The Capital town is not a touristic city, but a commercial and industrial one; anyway it is possible to draw attention to the centre of the city: the Rationalist Architecture and the Museum Duilio Cambellotti. The territory of Latina is characterized by interesting villages and sights for many reasons. Nearby Le Ferriere, settled at the borders with the Province of Rome, is still possible to visit S.Maria Goretti martyrdom's house and also the archeological area of Satricum. Between Borgo Faiti and Borgo S. Michele is the museum of Piana delle Orme, a great collection of modern art which illustrates the recent history of Pontine country! It is an exhibition estate composed by set designs and it is an absolute work of art, the only one of its kind in Italy. In the area Lido di Latina is one of the entrances of Circeo National Park: the one who leads you nearby Fogliano Lake for visiting a particular botanical garden of palms, by applying for a previous booking by us.

SERMONETA: town of the Middle Age, a charm untouched over the centuries. The city, still surrounded by wall, is characterized by stone houses, bastions, gates and churches, among which the Cathedral of S. Maria Assunta collects several precious works of art. On the top of the town is the wonderful and well preserved Caetani's Castle, with its great shape of fortress, the narrow soldiers paths will remember you the sad sieges, while its ballrooms will made you suddenly think of the atmosphere of the Middle Age. Outside the walls, under the town, is Valvisciolo Abbey that collects an important set of ancient prints in the White Gallery.
